Quickseal
PATRAWALA Quick seal Cementitious grout material - KENA is highly recommended on Flexible and Rigid wearing course for useful in (i) strong enough to resist braking and accelerating effect of traffic (ii) fuel resistant (iii) impervious to water and (iv) moisture resistant.
Pour the PATRAWALA QUICKSEAL Cementitious grout material on Cleaned Wearing course and spread by appropriate procedure Application of cementitious grout can be done manually or by mechanical means over the high voids bituminous / concrete surface. Sweeping / Squeezing or other such simple techniques can be adopted for this purpose. The applied grout should be able to automatically flow into the voids of the bituminous / concrete surface under the effect of gravity alone. If required the edges of the bituminous / concrete layer should necessarily be covered with any suitable material like fly ash to restrict the outflow of the grout slurry. To improve the surface roughness, the grouted surface can be mechanically/manually broomed to create texture on the surface to penetrate in the voids and Grout mix is allowed to set for 1 hour.

Binding of individual particles.
Microfine particle to reduce permeability and gain high strength.
Rapid Hardening to start traffic movement.
Bonding with surrounding material.
Non-shrink to reduce cracks.
Self-compacting to flow easily for densification.
Self-Curing to control heat of hydration.
Flexural resistance to withstand vehicular load.
Pure silica of various grade for more durability.
Filling Voids in Pavement or Road Base: Injects/spread grout paste to fill gaps or voids beneath the road surface or base. Prevents sink patch/holes, surface deformation, and structural weakening.
Crack and Joint Sealing: Used to seal cracks and joints in road surfaces. Prevents water ingress that can cause further damage.
Pavement Rehabilitation and Repair: Patches damaged sections of road surfaces. Restores smoothness and structural integrity, extending service life.
Reinforcement for Pavement Slabs: Fills gaps and bonds concrete pavement slabs at joints. Improves overall strength and minimizes shifting or cracking.
Soil Stabilization: Injects grout into the soil beneath roads to enhance strength. Prevents settlement in areas with poor soil conditions.
Underwater or Submerged Applications: Used in bridge foundations, culverts, or tunnels submerged in water. Prevents erosion and structural degradation.
Stabilizing Road Shoulders: Fills voids and strengthens road shoulders, especially after erosion. Restores shoulder integrity and prevents collapse.
Sealing the earth work: Prevent water percolation from shoulder side or median side.
Grouting for Retaining Walls and Slope Protection: Reinforces retaining walls and slopes in mountainous areas or Bridge Approaches or High embankment Road. Prevents soil erosion and improves road stability in high-risk areas.
It has a shelf of 6 months from the date of manufacture.
